The coolant control valve of my 2005 Prius started leaking–used this valve to replaced it and it worked like a charm. Because the old valve was leaking, the check engine light was also on. I installed this in about an hour with the help of videos I found online. I refilled the coolant, turned on the engine, bleed the system, and voila! No more leak and no more check engine light. This is a well made replacement valve, just as good or even better than the more expensive factory valve. I know there are many brands out there but this I highly recommend, best value for the price without a doubt!
