Eco Conscious Blue Earrings

Description Eco Conscious Blue Earrings. Our hand made eco conscious blue earrings, have been made using pieces of hard pale blue plastic cleared off the beach.  Both earring’s blue plastic inclusions have been cut from a larger piece of plastic cleared off the beach at Fraser Island [ K’gari ] on the Queensland coast. The blue plastic has been set in a clear plant based resin, with tiny flakes of gold leaf as a compliment to showcase the plastic waste found washed up on our beaches. These earrings are so light weight [ only weighing approximately 5 grams ] you won’t even know you have them on!! They deliberately sport marine debris cleared off our beaches to carry an eco message about caring for our oceans and seas. Why Not Be The Change and Support Our Planet? Using a bio resin, along with new stainless steel findings, we aim to reduce our impact on the environment as much as possible. The resin we use is 77% bio content, UV stable, BPA free,  odourless and contains no solvents.  An added bonus is it’s a 100% renewable source resin and doesn’t yellow either! To find out more about the resin we use, click  here We hand collect, sort and hand wash all the plastic and synthetic waste we use.  Washed up on our beaches or collected and taken out of our waterways, all the debris has been carefully and lovingly cleaned.
