Bellroy Laneway Totepack (18 liter stylish tote bag and backpack in one, for gym, travel or everyday carry) – Fawn

I am a big fan of Bellroy and have purchased several of their products over the past few years. I have been satisfied with all of them and this is no different. This totepack checks all the boxes; I love the build quality, its creative storage, the color, and versatility. I especially like the flip-out pockets in the main storage compartment, which allows me to slide in my water bottle and thermos effortlessly.This being a first iteration product, I do see some areas where Bellroy could improve. The laptop compartment (which fits my 14” MBP just fine) does not have a false bottom, meaning that you have to be careful when setting the tote on the ground. The handles, while sturdy, do not have any cushioning and can dig into your shoulders or hands if the tote is packed full. Lastly, I think the flip-out pockets could use some more structure – maybe some hardened foam or elastic material to border the top of the pockets so that they snap out and hold their shape more easily.Despite this, I am still very happy with this product and the functionality that it provides. I look forward to wear this totepack for many years to come, and I know that it will easily withstand the daily wear and tear that I put it though!
