I shoot a lot of forests w/ bright skies above the horizon. Wow – talk about dynamic range challenges! This filter has helped tremendously, and now I can shoot a single frame that captures the highlights of the sky and the dark trees.Good quality product without being fragile glass that I would inevitably break in the field. There’s enough flexibility in the material that I don’t feel like I have to ‘baby’ them.These big filters are a great solution for my super wide angle (16mm) lens while avoiding vignetting in the corners like I get w/ circular filters. It seems like they’re a bit less likely to hold onto dust too, though the sheer surface area size means there’s lots of real estate for specks to hide.I’m impressed that despite the resolution of my 36mp camera sensor I see no degradation from this filter. I’ll be buying additional variations now that I’ve made the commitment to rectangular filters.
